  主要研究领域:

  1)浮游藻类分子生理生态学研究:认识浮游藻类优势种群适应环境因子变动的生理生态响应机制,揭示优势藻类种群竞争中的适应策略和生理响应阈值,研究藻类响应环境变动的特殊生物标志物,发展原位实时动态监测浮游植物生消和生活力的技术,为预测预报水华的发生和水质的安全管理提供科学依据。

  2)藻源次生代谢产物(蓝藻毒素和异味物质)的生成规律及其生物学和毒理学研究:建立主要蓝藻毒素微囊藻毒素、节球藻毒素和其他蓝藻毒素灵敏和快速测定技术,建立微囊藻毒素的分析技术体系,分析并确定我国特有的蓝藻毒素结构,研究蓝藻毒素调控的分子机制、毒素的生物学功能及其毒理学研究;建立藻类异味次生代谢物分析方法,鉴定我国富营养化水体中产异味藻的种类,建立适用于饮用水异味去除的实用技术。以上研究将为我国水质异味检测标准方法的建立提供依据。

  3)藻种资源的保藏和利用研究:收集保存我国不同生境的藻类, 特别着重陆生藻类、有毒藻类和有重要经济价值藻类的收集和保藏,不断增加保藏物的数量;研究和发展先进、可靠的保藏方法;建立环境指示物种生物学特性基础数据库,提高现代化管理水平,促进国内外的资源信息共享;结合研究项目,对保藏的藻类遗传资源,特别是有重要经济价值或与环境保护密切相关的藻类遗传资源进行研究和开发利用。

  摘要:为了认识微囊藻毒素在环境中的归趋和有毒蓝藻水华可能造成的健康风险,从2005年2月到2006年1月我们对太湖水柱中微囊藻毒素的分布和毒素在水生生物中的生物富集做了系统研究。研究结果显示,太湖在夏季被有毒蓝藻水华(最大生物量为6.7 ×108 cells/L)和微囊藻毒素严重污染。最大胞内毒素含量为1.81 mg/g (DW),溶解性微囊藻毒素最大含量为6.69 μg/L。溶解性微囊藻毒素可全年在所有采样点整个水柱中被检出。我们的研究结果表明有必要去追踪整个水柱和水-底泥界面的微囊藻毒素含量变化。四种水生植物(Eichhornic crassipes, Potamogeton maackianus, Alternanthera philoxeroides 和 Myriophyllum spicatum)的微囊藻毒素含量季节变化范围分别为129-1317,147-1534,169-3945,124-956 ng/g (DW)。此外,我们还分析了毒素在四种水生动物(Carassius auratus auratus, Macrobrachium nipponensis, Bellamya aeruginosa 和 Cristaria plicata)中的生物富集。可食用组织和不可食用内脏器官的最大毒素含量范围分别为378-730和754-3629 ng/g (DW)。根据太湖的野外研究,综合 WHO标准和微囊藻毒素每日最大摄入量,我们做了相关风险评估。我们的研究发现认为,中国第三大湖泊太湖作为饮用水源地及休闲场所存在较为严重的健康威胁。此外,因太湖里水生生物富集的毒素含量较高,食用这些水生生物很有可能不安全。

  大型浅水湖泊微囊藻毒素含量的降低:水-底泥界面的贡献

  摘要:众所周知,蓝藻/蓝绿藻水华能产生诸如微囊藻毒素的化合物,这类化合物对水生及陆生生物有毒性作用。尽管早期研究已经分析了淡水湖泊中微囊藻毒素的归趋,但对微囊藻毒素主要的降解路径及影响其降解和消除的因子尚不明确。本研究的目的是通过室内实验和野外分析来探究藻毒素的来源及微囊藻毒素在水和底泥中的分布和生物降解。水和底泥样品于2005年2月到2006年1月每月从太湖各样点中采集, 用于检测微囊藻毒素含量。同时在室内对水和底泥样品进行分析测算微囊藻毒素的降解率。结果发现有部分水样能有效地降解微囊藻毒素。其中,从沉积物表面采集上覆水的微囊藻毒素含量下降地更快。底泥的藻毒素降解速率要高于水柱。根据对太湖的空间分布分析发现,相对于水中含量,底泥中微囊藻毒素含量更高。这些数据说明,底泥在水系统微囊藻毒素降解中扮演了重要的角色。环境中相对低水平的微囊藻毒素很可能源于细菌的生物降解。而底泥在作为生物降解细菌的输出来源和为细菌增殖和代谢毒素提供富碳环境等这些方面都发挥了重要作用。本研究结果可在湖泊、水库及其他一些水体的水质提升方面的湖泊管理策略提供重要的科学依据。
