简历介绍:
桂建芳,男, 1956年6月出生于湖北黄梅。1982年毕业于武汉大学细胞生物学专业,获学士学位;1984年毕业于武汉大学遗传学专业,获硕士学位;1995年在中国科学院水生生物研究所获理学博士学位。自1984年起,历任中国科学院水生生物研究所研究实习员、助理研究员、副研究员、研究员、博士生导师。曾于1991年至1994年在美国俄亥俄医学院和加州大学圣迭戈校区进行访问学者研究。1999年至2001年任中国科学院水生生物研究所常务副所长,2001年至2007年任所长;2001年至2011年任淡水生态与生物技术国家重点实验室主任。曾任农业部第八届科学技术委员会委员(2008-2013年),中国海洋湖沼学会副理事长(2007-2017年)。现任中国水产学会副理事长,中国动物学会和中国海洋湖沼学会鱼类学分会理事长,国家水产原良种审定委员会主任,淡水生态与生物技术国家重点实验室学术委员会主任, Water Biology and Security和Aquaculture and Fisheries主编;Science Bulletin, Science China Life Sciences,《中国科学生命科学》和《科学通报》编委等。2013年当选为中国科学院院士,2015年当选为发展中国家科学院院士。
长期从事鱼类遗传育种相关的发育遗传学基础和生物技术研究。系统研究多倍体银鲫的遗传基础和生殖机制,培育出有重大应用价值的银鲫养殖新品种;开拓出一条精准高效的基于X和Y性染色体连锁标记快速鉴别培育全雄鱼的性控育种技术路线。已主持或参与培育水产新品种4个,获授权发明专利10项,发表研究论文550多篇,出版专著和研究生教材10部,论著被引用超万次,特别是2018年由Willey Blackwell出版的Aquaculture in China: Success Stories and Modern Trends被国际同行誉为新时代的水产养殖专著,“为更广阔的世界展示了中国这个卓越水产养殖超级大国的主要活力”。已培养毕业博士和硕士以及出站博后共100多位,毕业的博士中获中国科学院院长特别奖1名,优秀奖2名。
研究成果先后获国家自然科学奖二等奖(2011年)等10多项科技成果奖。1988年获中国青年科技奖,1994年获国家杰出青年科学基金资助,1995年获中国科学院青年科学家奖一等奖,1996年获香港求是科技基金会杰出青年学者奖,2009年获全国“五一劳动奖章”,2015年获全国先进工作者,2015年获何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖,2015年获湖北省科技突出贡献奖等荣誉称号,2022年获中国科学院大学“李佩教学名师奖”。
