Sébastien Brosse 教授现任法国图卢兹大学教授、法国生物多样性与环境研究中心（CRBE）“水生生态与全球变化”研究团队负责人，是国际知名淡水鱼类生态学家。长期从事淡水鱼类多样性、群落组装与全球变化生态学研究，主导建立覆盖全球3000多个流域的淡水鱼类数据库及包含8000余种鱼类的全球形态学数据库，有力推动了全球鱼类宏观生态学研究的发展。他也是环境DNA（eDNA）领域的重要推动者，在利用eDNA评估全球鱼类多样性及全球变化影响方面取得了重要成果。迄今已在 Science、Nature Communications 等期刊发表论文150余篇，Google Scholar引用超过13,000次，H指数63。2019年获法国大学教授最高等级“Exceptional Class Professor”，2026年入选中国科学院PIFI杰出学者计划。

Professor Sébastien Brosse is a Full Professor at the University of Toulouse, France, and head of the Aquatic Ecology and Global Change research team at the Research Center for Biodiversity and Environment (CRBE). He is an internationally recognized freshwater ecologist whose research focuses on freshwater fish biodiversity, community assembly, and global change ecology. Professor Brosse led the development of global freshwater fish biodiversity databases covering more than 3,000 river basins and a morphological database including over 8,000 fish species, greatly advancing global macroecological research on freshwater fishes. He is also a pioneer in the application of environmental DNA (eDNA) for biodiversity monitoring and global fish diversity assessment. He has published more than 150 papers in leading journals including Science and Nature Communications, with over 13,000 citations on Google Scholar and an H-index of 63. In 2019, he was awarded the highest academic rank of French university professors, “Exceptional Class Professor,” and in 2026 was selected for the Chinese Academy of Sciences PIFI Distinguished Scientist Program.
