鱼类发育与干细胞

  学科组介绍:

  本学科组关注基础研究和应用基础研究。一方面研究生命科学的基本问题,即受精卵如何发育成为一个完整的个体?另一方面,围绕基础科研服务于国家需求,从干细胞理论和技术出发,研究重大疾病的发病机理、开展干细胞治疗研究。本课题组以斑马鱼和哺乳动物多能干细胞为材料,在以下方向开展研究:脊椎动物早期胚胎发育、多能干细胞自我更新和分化机理、干细胞治疗和转化医学等。主要研究内容如下: 

  1、以斑马鱼为模式生物,研究转录因子、信号通路、表观遗传因子以及染色质高级结构等调控脊椎动物早期胚胎发育、细胞命运决定以及基因表达的分子机制。为治疗人类发育疾病提供机理解释。 

  2、以人和小鼠多能干细胞为材料,揭示干细胞自我更新与维持、分化的细胞及分子生物学基础。鉴定调控干细胞自我更新和分化的关键因子;阐明其在干细胞自我更新和分化、细胞命运决定中的作用机制。 

  3、干细胞治疗和转化医学研究。研究内容包括:干细胞理论和技术研究重大疾病发病机理;基于多能干细胞的体外类器官(类肠、类心脏等)构建,阐明其定向分化及自组装规律;干细胞和组织工程结合研发新型临床替代物等等。  

  本课题组得到国家重点研发计划项目资助,总研究经费约600万元。
